Good evening all. I paid off both my barclay cards but not before balance post to CR. Uti cause drop in fico. 40 pts on transunion. Gained 8 back. 765 to 729 to 737. Gained a few pts on EX and EQ as well. Not as many as I would like to. Looking to next month to have uti between 1-5 % to regain pts. Still waiting for Amex ED and NBA Amex to report that will help greatly another $10.000 added. So my question. Do I pay at statement closed date to keep balance from reporting. I know this has been answered numerous times. Don't remeber exactly. Info will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Simplest way is pay by due date and don't charge again until after statement close date.
