@Anonymous... I wish I could have a different card (heck, I'm lucky I have what I have now). I burned Citi, Chase in my Bk7 in 2013. I'm blacklisted from them for many years to come. Amex is also not available to me for several years, and neither is US bank, BOFA, and pretty much everyone else lol. I've never had Discover before but I'm too recent out of bk. I've applied with them and denied twice. So I'm very limited right now on a major card
@elim.... I have considered a laptop! I've never had one before. Do you think they are more versatile? And can I still use a printer with a laptop?? I'm so dumb when it comes to things like this, lol!Sure you can use a printer with a laptop, I have mutli laptops and a single printer, dont even need cables as its all wireless, if printer is USB can always stick the cable in the USB ports.
If you are most familiar with a desktop, you tend to give up features when going to a laptop.
For example, a standard key board (although Steve Jobs thinks keyboards are for losers, so I'm a loser)
A large monitor. You spend all your time looking at the monitor, so my preference is to make sure that is perfect. I have a 27" UltraSharp Dell. It cost $750 discounted but it is the best mix of large screen space and large screen space.
Adding hard drives, if that is your preference/liklihood. Having your last computer for 15 years means, you may want to consider the long term stability of a desktop/tower PC.
Lastly, the desktop PC is set up on your desk. A laptop has portability features, it is true, but just pressing one button to start the whole mess up is nice.
And the large monitor, did I mention the large monitor?
I dont think it would make much difference to them. They are getting paid. The best part with the navy balance transfer offer is there is no transfer fee, the 2.9% will be cheaper than if there were a fee for a 0% card.
That being said I have never done a transfer either lol. But I am thinking about it just for the fun of it!

@diabolically.... Mmmmm, I didn't think of that!!! That is an idea for sure! But won't Barclays get mad that I used the card then turned around and have navy pay them? I've never done a balance transfer in my life ever. How long does it take usually for the transaction to happen?? 2.9% isn't bad, I'd like 0%, but beggars can't be choosers!! Thank you!
Now would be a good time to start
BT is easy. With no BT Fee and 2.9%, it's a no brainer to do it.
Amazon and Paypal offer interest free time payments.
My monitor is JVC 37" 1080p 5ms refresh rate $250. I refuse to believe I need glasses.
I know. I just need to obtain a balance for it.
