So....after reading these posts today, I decided to call customer service to see which card I was approved for.....store card
I asked the rep if there may be an option to upgrade from the store card and she said "yes....with building a good history with them will make the store card upgradeable in the future".
Deciding whether to keep it or not.....already took the hit and my other Comenity cards are growing like crazy.....maybe this one will too and then be eligible for an upgrade. Plus, I can still get my makeup and other things I need from there
when you were approved for the card, it showed you the approved mastercard? and said your mastercard would arrive in the mail message? And now its a storecard you are getting?
Yes it did. I completed the app on my phone but took a screenshot of the approval and it said " Look for your Ultamate Rewards Mastercard and welcome package to arrive within 7-10 business days". I will try and upload the image but nit really sure how to

have you set up your online account yet? When I access mine the MasterCard and the store version have 2 separate portals.
I did not set up an online account. Now with Comenity cards you need to have to account number in order to create an online account. Used to have an option to find account by SS#. That's how it was when I got my Overstock, VS, and Wayfair.
I called the number for the Mastercard CS earlier and spoke to a rep. I just was able to call the CS number for the store card version and entered my info and was abe to get general acct info: available credit, paymeny info.....etc.
