Unexpected CLI!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a HSBC Amex with a $2500cl since Jan. I use it to pay my car insurance and cell phone bill. Well last night on my way out for my sushi and cocktails adventures, I decided to check my balance online and to my surprise they increased my limit to $3500. Im liking HSBC even more now. I had their Orchard card for about 2yrs and never had an increase.  Only bad thing this card still not reporting on any of my cra.

THAT IS AWESOME!  Congratulations on the CLI.  How did you go about getting the HSBC American Express?  Did you orginally apply for an American Express and they denied you?  How do you go about applying?  What's the requirements?

I got a preapproval in the mail for that and the Discover. Never apped for Discover or Amex prvsly. I applied for both, they gave me a 300cl with the discover so I didnt take it, and a 2500cl with the Amex. They pulled eq on me here in ga. After that approval I app for the amex delta and the amex blue. I was replacing my subprime cards with low limits back in Jan. My EQ680 TU700 EX705 back in Jan.

Congrats on the CLI from HSBC. I believe this is one of their prime products, so hopefully there are many more in store for the future!

Call them and remind them to report.  They are usually pretty good about reporting. 

As for the HSBC Amex, it is a special offer like the Discover Platinum.  There are actually two Discover cards from HSBC: Rewards (which usually has  the $300.00 CL) and the Platinum (which usually has a better CL.   I got an offer for the AMEX  app. just a few weeks after I got the Discover apps.  By then, I had too many HSBC cards and was turned down for the AMEX.

I know that other than getting that preapprovals in the mail, both the HSBC AMEX and Discover Platinum cards are not advertised by HSBC and are very hard to find online.
