The plastic ritz card is on par with a cap1 card. Same cardboardy feel.

Word on the street is END of april too. =/

CSR specified "we will automatically send out metal cards when we have them" - Which is code for "all you people need to stop calling about these darn metal cards"

Re: Unexpected Ritz Carlton card surprise.

Just an update everyone:

I was approved for this card on March 10th. I received a notification yesterday that I was receiving an overnight package from UPS.

Got home and to my surprise it was the welcome package for the Ritz card, which is very impressive. However, I wasn't very excited because I was expecting a plastic card. Much to my surprise, sitting in there was a metal card, it feels amazing!

Just wanted to give you all hope, because truthfully I was very bummed hearing that everyone here was receiving a plastic card.

Congrats and that is a good sign for those awaiting the metal cards.

Re: Unexpected Ritz Carlton card surprise.

Wonder if it's worth it asking for a replacement card?

Well you can ask but from what jsucool76 and others that have called, the metal ones will be auto sent to those that received the plastic ones when metal cards are available.  Maybe they are available now or they just have enough to send out to a few.

Re: Unexpected Ritz Carlton card surprise.

I just got off the phone with priority services and she did confirm they have metal back in stock and that people will be receiving them throughout April. I asked if she can order mine right now and she did. She said allow 1-2 days for the card. I hope it does in fact come metal.
