Union Bank? Geez I haven't seen a thread on that bank in ages, I even drive by a branch everyday and still forget they exist. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what these exciting changes they speak of will be.

They picked up my mortgage loan after I'd paid six months on it; apparently they're moving more of their money back into the American market.

They used to call themselves Union Bank of California when I banked with them, so my assumption is they're based here in CA but don't know for certain.

Did they discontinue their previous cards, or did they just stop accepting new apps? Whatever they're offering, I wouldn't be interested if it could just as suddenly be snatched back.

I had a secured card with Union Bank once.
And there regular CC's were just basic no thrill cards, look foward to see there new changes.

They are a subsidary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group out of Japan.

In Cali for the same reason JCB is, lot of expats here .
