check out Doctorofcredit.com and look up best bank bonuses... or google bank bonuses in June. and look up which ones are good for your state. easy money... not as good as statement credits as there is no taxes on statement credits but bank bonuses are taxed as interest... I'd rather have a bunch of interest to pay taxes on then not.
I'm curious how many accounts they will let me open... also you NEED a spread sheet to keep track of it all.
Recently got approved for AmEx ED 25K MR for 2K Spending. Used to purchase a sound
system for my car, I’ve been waiting for 15-16 months to get it. Paying it off in 10 Months.
15 Months 0% APR.
Also going to move my PRG MR points to this card and close the PRG.
My SL is only 2K... 🤷🏽♂️
SUBS are pretty much done.
This year:
Hilton 75k plus $100 credit / DW next month 100k
BRG MR 75k
Plat MR 10k retention offer.
2017 was more
Biz plat 75k
SPG 30k
Barclays AA 60k
Citi Exec AA 70K
Amex has been incredible picking up two business card subs w/ no HP and no Reporting
Maybe another business card in 2019
Some of you are open a lot of cards for tiny bonuses. I won't open a card without 500 dollars of value. You dont' want to get declines on the best cards because you were chasing some 100 dollar SUB. The only bank bonus I did was the 300 dollar Chase. You get taxed on Bank Bonuses and they don't seem to be worth the effort to me.
Currently working on Marriott Business 75k for 3k of spend.
Bonuses I have hit in the past year:
Amex SPG 30k
Amex SPG 30k
Hyatt 40k + 50 dollar credit
Hyatt 40k + 10k Referral
Bank of America PR 500 dollars
Amex PRG 50k
Amex PRG 50k
Citi Thank You Premier 50k
Barclay Business Aviator 50k
Barclay Arrival Plus 50k
Citi AA 70k
Barclay Aviator Red 60k
Barclay Aviator Red 60k
Southwest Premier 60k
Southwest Plus 60k
The only bonus is my Amex PRG, 50K MR points after $1K in spend by 90 days. I've already gotten the MR points dropped into my account.

Some of us open cards and get the bonuses we can financially achieve. Tiny to you they may be, but they are still free money people wouldn't have otherwise gotten, for doing their regular spend.

To each their own, not everybody can afford to chase $500 bonuses. Just sayin'

Thats a good point. But people listed small bonuses on 3k spend. Along with 100 dollar bonuses. Perhaps they had an unsual spend for the 3k.
@Anonymous wrote:once you see how easy it is to get checking/savings bonuses from banks for just a soft pull on credit... it makes the $150 bonus on $500 spend seem like childs play.... bank bonuses are just a hobby... my goal is $3k this year... and these accounts are much easier to churn than credit cards.
Totally agree with you!! I did BOFA ($200) and Wells Fargo ($300) end of 2017 start of 2018.
