Upcoming changes to Amex MR points value

Sorry if this was already posted.

Checking latest statement I saw a notation: "See page 7 for Important Information About Your Rewards Program."  I know most transfer to airline or hotel loyality programs, but for those who use them in other ways, I suggest logging on to see changes coming June 28, 2015.  Some values go down, some go up.

10K Points for Express Rewards Gas Card  drops from $77 to $50

10K Points for Hyatt Hotels Gift Card climbs from $83 to $100

I know this only impacts a few but thought it was worth posting. There are changes in other areas beyond gift cards.

Re: Upcoming changes to Amex MR points value

I don't have any mr cards right now but am considering it in the near future but am a little confused by what you mean. Are you saying the value per point is increasing in Hyatt and decreasing on gas or vice versa. I am seeing 1mr point = 1 cent for Hyatt gc but only .5 cent for gas is that correct?

Thanks. I'll stay with transfer of points to airlines!
