Just as title, anyone know if I can convert it to VISA card later?
Thanks
If the card starts as a MasterCard, it will always be a MasterCard. I have read recently that Cap one is predominately offering MasterCard. I think the Venture products are the only Visas. (From what I've read on these forums)
Have you recently been offered the chance to upgrade from a QS1 to a QS? I ask because those offers are tough to get.
If you have a chance to upgrade, I'd focus on the advantage of dumping the annual fee rather than whether you have a Visa or a MasterCard.
I just upgraded it to the QS (no annual fee). Just asking this because I don't really like Mastercard, my girlfriend has the QS VISA card. We do shop a lot at Costco...

Nope. Once MC, always MC. The network stays the same with a PC, even though your card type will change. You may have to consider other Visa options for Costco spend.

Since the QS and QS1 are only offered as Mastercards right now, you have to app for a Journey or Venture (Not the VentureOne, that's a MasterCard offering as well) then PC to a Quicksilver to get a Visa now.
There are other cards to use at Costco, including their own offering. You could use your Freedom Unlimited for the exact same rewards. Also you can use your Discover It to buy Costco cash cards online for 5% cash back.
