Upgrade lost their darn mind

I am trying to update my phone number . I can't log in because they send a code to my old cell phone .

i contacted them and they sent me these instructions  They are nuts I am just gonna close this 🙄

Yeah, I went through that couple of years ago when I had the card. They even lowered my limit due to low usage. I eventually closed the account.

Funny I emailed them back told them to take a leap and they said ok your account is closed . So I can just close my account through an email but you couldn't update my phone number .

All seriousness aside, this is a real problem. I have several accounts that send codes to my phone for various reasons. If I ever plan to change numbers, I'll get the new number first, so I can make the switch.

Yes but they closed immediately from my email lol

Upgrade as an issuer is a special kind of headache. They approved an credit card account for me and then wanted to play games for the required checking account. I thought I was ready for that mess before I applied but they were just not worth it. Ended up closing it all in the opening process.
