Upgrading Basic Capital One Card

Just got call from EO and was told in order for my card to be upgraded to Venture card no AF you have to have 5k credit limit on existing card so no deal.

I would try the online chat. I used it today to PC my V1 to a QS.

I would look in the pre-qualification site and see if I had any pre-approvals on any of their other products. If so, I would combine the other MC's into your recently converted QS and app for the new card(s) if pre-approved.

The Venture1 with NO AF is only at 1.25% earning, that is less than your QS. Plus of your concert, you lose the sign up bonus on the Venture1. Just my thoughts.

I called once and asked if there were any upgrade offers, and they upgraded my Platinum to a Quicksilver

You may want to consider combining CLs and then seeing if you can PC.   Alternatively, you might be able to PC to VentureOne.   At least they were able to look into this for you.
