Upgrading Macys to Macys Amex?

Does this happen or should I get rid of my Macys card? Long term I only want to keep 4 cards so my plan is to keep Barclays, (my highest CL) Cap One Quiksilver, NFCU Cash Rewards and my macys if I can upgrade it to amex at some point. 

Thoughts?

Not sure,maybe try calling or if not i know you have to go to store to apply for the Amex version. Maybe give it a try? Good luck

Not sure they offer upgrades anymore, I believe you have to apply separately for the Amex version in store.
