Upgrading from zync to gold prem rewards after 1 month details per request

Amex gave me permanent number with temporary expiration and CID on the approval page.  They didn't give me any number on the email. The card number would be your  Zync Card.  I didn't use the card until the card came in.  Did they give you instant approval?

Ok on the email I have the ending number for the card. Different from the approval email sent on my zync last month. I was approved over the phone instantly, so I didn't do it on the website for the gold. I presume this shows up as 2 accounts on my credit report

So you applied both cards and got approved over the phone. Right? Of course, they could not tell you the number for security reason.  Yes, it will show 2 charge cards on your report and the account numbers will be scrambled. It might take up to 2 months to report.
