Upromise World MasterCard Ending Soon?

Upromise has removed all links to info and application for the Upromise World Mastercard. The Barclaycard site also has no mention of it anymore and you can't even find the old page with a Google search. This is very similar to the early stages of what happened with the Sallie Mae MC.

Anyone know if they are killing this card?

That would suck. I've currently been getting 10% back at Walmart.com and Jet.com, along with 6% back at Ebay with this card.

Well, if this is true then that makes two products I won't have for much longer. Time for some consolidation.

That's what I'm fearing. I already shut down my 2 Sallie Mae MC's and consolidated/transferred the CLs to my Upromise MC. If they get rid of this too then there is no reason for me to have ANY cards with them.

You know, it appears Barclays is like all the closings with our US retail stores. We close a card here and one there and before long we are gone. Where did HSBC and MBNA America go ... real gone

Barclay's lineup keeps shrinking. I still say I would not be surprised to see them sell off their card portfolio entirely at some point

Well this would explain why they didn't PC the SM into the Upromise like I thought they would do.
