Hey everyone I am currently rebuilding my credit. I screwed my credit up years ago and I'm starting fresh. My current scores are in the 560s I have a couple of collections which are medical Bill's.I have an auto loan in good standing I tried getting
secured cards from discover and capital one got denied so I applied for the us bank secured cardi wanted a secured card that graduates still waiting to see if I'm approved its been a few days does anyone have any experience with this card and can tell me how long is the process to be approved. I also will be getting a self credit builder account.
i do know that US Bank does take 2-3 days for some applications - so i hope you get it
i dont think you need a self builder, as you have an auto loan already
I was thinking about it as If i get approved for the card i will only have 2 accounts reporting. Do you think that would be enough to build credit.
yes - that will be enough for now
cleaning up the collections will have the biggest impact right now - focus on them
once they get cleaned up, your scores will rise - and if you wait for the right time, your first card will be a good one, without having to get 4 or 5 cards with $300-750 limits
