She was sick and am sure she didn't want to talk to me either. On hindsight I wish I moved past what happened and asked her more questions. Here's what I'll do, I have to talk with her again (next week), so if you have any questions, I'll ask them. Score and BK, I'll ask.The only topics that were brought up were income and inquiries (whether I would have to take a hit) and card type. Also asked about the process, or rather I asked if she could influence the decision-making process (NO). From experience, they pull EX pretty much exclusively and had been approved in the past for two 99/500 offers with scores in the mid-600 (though some have been approved for less).

bamagirl1 wrote:what else did she say llecs? like scores, bk anything you can add on here about your conversation...Talked to a CC rep today....Scores...She had no specific reponse on scores. She added that scores weren't the only factor but also included credit history, income, etc.BKs...She responded in a general response and in fact had me on hold... I guess to ask around. She gave a programmed response that credit history, income, etc. play a part in the decision-making process. I suspect that BKs are OK so as long as overall history post-bk is good. Though look at WhoGaveMeCredit and posts here to confirm that.I also asked about the "emerging credit cc". They said that it a reword of the fully secured card.

Sorry for the delay but I was in a battle with BofA and I won...more later.
Answers: The easiest card to apply for with no credit history is, according to BofA's CC folks, the student card, secured, or platinum plus.
When asked about new CC history...her reply was the same. She added that your have a greater chance of being approved with the above 3.
Thanks so much for looking into that for me much appreciated...Ya know this is the 2nd time a BofA Rep has recc. a 'student card' to a non-student, so now I'm thinking the policies for student requirements with them must be broad. Hmm, guess my swim class at the local University will do lol...Congrats on your win!
