I read a thread recently on here from this past April where the poster was able to use their Venture miles to cover things such as moving expenses and streaming services, and others were able to cover restaurant purchases--but it was only suppose to last until June 30th. Does anybody know if you can still do this--or has anyone tried it since the deadline? If so this might induce me to use my card to do a few upcoming things. I have roughly 60K miles between 2 cards I can burn.
I no longer have a Venture, and while it was true you could "cover your purchases," usually if you used it on anything other than travel-related expenses, you'd typically only get half the value. I don't know if that's still the case, but I'd imagine it is.

"From now until September 30, 2020, you can redeem your miles for eligible restaurant delivery, takeout and streaming service purchases."
That seems about right, I don't know the exact conversion but there is definitely a downgrade when the points are used for cash.
