Using my Amex MRs and Citi TY points

I have a stockpile of amex MRs from the plat signup (not to mention my old PRG and everyday balances) which comes out to about 150k MR points. I also have another 100k citi TY points (that can transfer directly to travel partners) and I have 40k TY points  via a citi bank account, which can be used to buy AA tickets at 1.6 per point. I also have like 100k (probably a bit more Chase URs) and 40k Amex SPG points. The chase URs and Amex SPG points I am hoping to save for hotel stays at hyatt/spg. With the TY points and Amex MRs I'm looking to fly first class NYC to Japan. Anyone have viable options? Looking into Signapore for their suites class but that seems to require a connect through LAX. Trying to avoid massive fuel surcharges if possible. I am looking to go in the late spring and I have flexibility on the dates.

You could transfer your 150k MR and 50k thankyou points to Air France/KLM/Flying Blue and fly business LGA to NRT r/t on JAL, or Korean, or something. It won't be singapore first class, but it's something. =]

Hmm, this is the type of thing I needed to know. Jal May not be a bad choice. I wanted to fly in first but with some airlines the difference between first and j is not that great. Have heard decent things about Korean as well.

You can check with airlines offer service (for this particular redemption) on the flying blue website. They're all 200k as that is their award chart, but there is tons of airlines that partner with flying Blue.

Only reason I bring them up is because they are a partner of both Amex and Citi.
