Utilizing Amazon Payments for CC rewards

For anyone who may be familiar with Amazon Payments,

I'm making a $5000 purchase from a family member, and I would like to pay him on via Amazon payments so that I can get some cashback from my CC. I see that the maximum personal payment amount is $500, but may be raised once a bank account is confirmed? Could it be raised enough for me to make this $5000 purchase? How would I go about increasing this limit? TIA

Re: Utilizing Amazon Payments for CC rewards

I haven't signed up, I'm just reading the fine print online.

"Personal Accounts may receive up to $500 per month. The receiving limit may be raised or removed entirely once a credit card and verified bank account have been registered in the account."

I think I can send as much money as I would like, but I need to set up my family member with an account that can receive that much? I'm not really sure, was hoping someone else had tried this.
