VS CLI question?

So I have a $650 CL on my VS card. I had asked for a CLI a few weeks ago and it was under review. I never heard back. I made a payment (in full) on a purchase I made last weekend. For curiosity sake, I clicked the CLI link (not requesting one) and it said I needed to call if I wanted to request one. Does this mean my original increase request is still under review? I ne eat had an issue before with other CC.

That's a new one.   I either get an instant increase or the 7-10 message when I hit the CLI button.   How long have you had the account?

JimBo-6 months. They just approved me for a buckle card last weekend. That card will go in the SD but I wanted the discount.

The 6th month mark is right when I got my first CLI for the VS card.  Then $300 every month or so.  Lately all my Comenity cards have denied me a CLI on my usual schedule.  Guess they are tightening up their belt.  Like I said, usually either a yes or now instantly.   Did you try again by chance?  They are usually SP.

I would give it some additional time.  Try again in two months or so, that should do the trick.  However, this is not set and stone.  If I recall correctly it took me around 8 months or so to get the ball rolling for CLI on this card.  (YMMV)

My VS card started growing after 3-6 mos. It grew the fastest after 6 mos, pretty much every other month after that until I reached $3000 within a 14 mos. Now when I hit the luv button for good measure it says that I am at the max Comenity is offering for this card. I love my card and the rewards! I've had my card for 2.5 years now.
