Virgin America Visa question

I've been reading a lot of posts on other sites about people being upset about many charges always getting declined for "fraud."

Does anyone who has this card, have a problem using it?

Sounds like they may not like you to use it a lot

Re: Virgin America Visa question

I closed this card because every other time I used it, Comenity put out a fraud alert and closed the card. Three times I called in to get the card re-opened. By the way, heaven forbid they shut you down on the weekend. Comenity is not BofA. No one answers the phone in the security dept. Had to wait till Monday to talk to someone other than a CSA. Finally, after the third fraud alert, I closed the card. It had a 16500 limit, but if you can't use it, it's worthless.

Re: Virgin America Visa question

Have read horror stories about that particular Visa of theirs having issues being decined as well compared to their other cards... Not sure why, but tons I mean tons of complaints about it.

Re: Virgin America Visa question

I've never had an issue with my Virgin America card. The largest single charge I've made so far was $2k and it went through fine.

Re: Virgin America Visa question

Since I'm new to credit and it's my only card with any kind of rewards value I use this card constantly and have never had a hiccup with it.  They don't care whether I'm spending $2 on parking or $3,000 on a new mattress.  Always goes through and have never had any sort of alert.
