Visa Signature question

Since I took a HP for a measly 2k AND it's not reporting anyway because it's a Visa Signature card, is there any way to get Bank of America to report the total credit limit to the CR agencies so I can at least get a lower util out of the whole deal?

Re: Visa Signature question

It won't be a Visa Signature add its below $5k. Its in the fine print when you apply which basically says that you apply for Visa Signature but if you don't qualify for it then it will be Platinum.

So this new card will report CL
AMEX: $25,000, CSR: $10,000, Chase Priority Club: $1,500, Freedom: $5000, Freedom Unlimited: $1000, Discover: $21,000, BoA $11,000, WF Cash Wise: $5000

Re: Visa Signature question

I'm sorry, I was unclear! I got a 2k CLI on my existing B of A Visa Signature card, not a new card.

Re: Visa Signature question

You can request it to be down graded to a regular platinum if you wish which will report CL
AMEX: $25,000, CSR: $10,000, Chase Priority Club: $1,500, Freedom: $5000, Freedom Unlimited: $1000, Discover: $21,000, BoA $11,000, WF Cash Wise: $5000

Re: Visa Signature question

BofA seems to be quite hit-or-miss when it comes to Visa Signatures reporting CLs. It seems like some cards do (like mine does), but others don't. I don't know what are the differentiating factors, but it's one of those YMMV cases.

Some people have requested a change to a platinum card just so it reports. I don't know if it's worth it for everyone, but it's an option.

EX 798, EQ 789, TU 784
American Express Platinum (NPSL) || Bank of America Privileges with Travel Rewards Visa Signature - $23,200 CL
Barclays American Airlines Aviator Red World Elite Mastercard - $20,000 CL || Chase IHG Rewards World Mastercard - $25,000 CL
Chase Sapphire Preferred Visa Signature - $12,700 CL || Chase United MileagePlus Club World Elite MasterCard - $26,500 CL
Citibank Hilton Reserve Visa Signature - $20,000 CL || J.P. Morgan Ritz Carlton Visa Signature - $23,500 CL

Re: Visa Signature question

I have three Visa signature cards and I think they all report their limits.

The question posed here is actually different from the question I posted in the other thread. But that's ok! Feel free to delete this thread because I am stepping away from the Internet now! Smiley Tongue

I vote we let the thread live.  No need to rain on severine's parade.  -_-
