I think I'm bad karma for these cards; OCCU closed my Duck card and now this! It just says "Paid account/closed by grantor." I've never been asked about it or bothered to fight that battle. I haven't seen a difference in my score either so I'm not worried about it.
I see, good to know. I'm assuming that's how my Walmart Discover will report when it gets switched over to MC.
I haven't received any mailing about discontinuing. I hate to see to lose TL.
Ron.
Yikes! This will be the first time I've had a card discontinued.
Do you know if there is any way to get the account removed after they close it?
Yup, I have confirmed this to be true and I saved the closed by grantor and terminated the account myself this morning. I pressed for information on why and got that this was solely a Vitacost decision and that they no longer wished to offer a credit card of any kind so the bank had no choice but to terminate the relationship and close all accounts, so I also sent Vitacost a ravaging email outlining what they have cost me and deprived me of in my credit profile with a demand for removal from ther system permanently and they will not receive another dime from myself or my family from this day forward.
OH NO... I don't want to loose my $1500 CL

Hayyyyyyyyyy caramba, gdale! Sock it to them! What do you think the chances are that they will remove it?

Hmm....wonder how Vitacost will reply to your email. If you get a response, please share!

i doubt they will remove the account, Im not asking them to do so since this is not a decision by the bank itself. If you want to have it removed I would suggest calling the Exec Office of the bank and asking for that, if they refuse the proper way to escalate IMO would be the BBB.
