So I received my CLI confirmation letter today. While they DO provide you with a free TU FICO , per their letter , "we also used a credit score developed by us in making our decision. The credit score is not a FICO score and may differ from the score you may obtain from a consumer reporting agency. Scores range from a low of 507 to a high of 741."
Weird.. thought for sure they were using FICO since they give it to you monthly ?? Anybody know of a particular model that runs 507-741 ????? I could really care less as they bumped me from 800 to 1400.00 I just find it odd.......
Nice bump.
The TU score they give you is Fico but they use their own internal model to determine CLI etc.

Lowes does the same thing for CLI, they sent me a letter with the same score range.
Interesting. I wonder if they factor in history w/other GE accounts with their internal scoring model.
Good question..... I am considering shooting for Lowes in June...I wish I knew....
