Re: WFNNB CLI timelines

I requested a credit limit increase this month on my VS card and it was a hard pull.  I asked for one back in the spring and it was soft.  They gave me an increase of $200 each time but I was surprised to the see inquiry this time.

Thats scary! I just hit the button yesterday on both VS and Limited, I really, really hope it wasn't a hard pull!! But the good news is I checked today and I got a CLI on both, VS is up $440 to $1040 and Limited is up $520 (both weird amounts) to $1660! Limited has always been really good about auto CLI's but I have a feeling I'm near the ceiling on that CL.

Does anyone know who they would have soft pulled? I live in VA if that helps. I'm going to try to check tonight to see if I got a hard inq

Re: WFNNB CLI timelines

Thanks for bringing this up! I applied online for a CLI on my WFNNB/ J.Crew card. It asked for my salary (I had to choose weekly vs monthly vs annual; how about bi-weekly, as most of us are paid? lol), and then said I would know by mail in 2-3 days. I checked back online a couple of hours later, and my CL went from $1500 to $2250.

Now, if I could just afford their clothes... Smiley Very Happy

No idea if they did a hard, but they didn't have a notice that they might access my credit report or any other verbiage. I know they didn't hard me before for the same online CLI, and I can't remember if they softed me.

Re: WFNNB CLI timelines

JCrew is my only WFNNB backed card. I opened it in January with a $250 (or $200) limit. In May I called customer service and requested a CLI so I could shop for an upcoming trip, and they increased my limit to $450. Then today I happened to log on to my account (I haven't used it in a few months) and noticed I've been granted an auto-cli somewhere along the way - probably with my most recent statement - and now my limit is $900
