What is the max dollar amount have you ever  chaged on a AMex charge card in a month ?

I have charged around 8000$ in first week of getting the card ..

$287,556.90.  In December of 2010.  A business purchase to take advantage of section 179 accelerated depreciation for tax purposes.

I believe the max amount anyone can charge is what Amex will allow you to charge according to the spending limit Amex will give you, when I last checked my spending ability on my premier gold charge card  limit was $10,000 but with these charge cards you have to pay the full amount off within the month and if anyone is capable in charging a large amount like you congrats Amex likes spending plus you can rack up on the reward points faster.

Android, was that a personal Amex or a corporate card?

It's a corporate Platinum Card.  I got A LOT of calls from Amex that month.  My business generally runs roughly $500,000 through Amex annually.  They seemed relatively nervous that I was doing so much in one month.

I remember my mom spent like 30,000 on her green card one month to pay for some funeral services for a relative
I think she might have called american express ahead of time to let them know of the purchase though.
