I joined this forum about four months ago with a credit score of 510 and horrible credit due to a divorce and bankruptcy in 2006. Even with a salary over 80k I couldn"t even qualify for a secured card. Thanks to the wonderful people here and the info given my score is now 680 thanks to 3 AU's from my fiance. I was able to join Navy federal 2 months ago, also because of him and within the last two months I know have a Checking account , Savings account, 2000 line of credit, 1 secured card for 1k limit. Last weekend I took the plunge and applied for 2 rewards cards and an auto loan. All three were approved, the auto loan for 23k, the two cards with 3500 and 1000 limits. I signed the promissory note for my new SUV yesterday. I have a couple of collection accounts from 3 years ago but I am working to clean those off as well. Thanks to all on this site.
Congrats and Good Luck..
