You can app for it, a word of caution they will review it for the store card as well if you dont qualify for the MC and you could end up with 2 store cards.

Re: Wal-Mart MasterCard and Store?

Since they're issued by the same bank you may be able to just ask for an upgrade, like with a Macy's store card to a Macy's Amex. I know one thing that sucks about the Amazon store and Amazon Visa is that they're isued by two different banks so upgrading without a new app is impossible. But with Walmart that shouldn't be the case

Sorry not an option with Synchrony bank upgrade is only by invitation or apply for the Mastercard. Even if you were offered an upgrade it would be considered a new trade line. As others mentioned no guarantee and could get a second store card.

Discover IT $17k / US Bank Ace (VSig) $13.5K / US Bank Cash+ (VSig) $13.5k
Sam's Mastercard $15k / Walmart Mastercard $10k / Blispay $7.5k PayPal Ex MC $10.8k
CareCredit 5k / Husq $5k / Cap1 QS $4.5k / Barclay Ring $5.35k / Citi DC (WMC) $12k
