When I got the Wal-Mart store card, I thought that the no interest financing deals were available all the time, as long as your purchase met the amount qualification and you purchased the items in store. But this card says that purchases have to be made by 12/31/15. So does this mean that if I don't use it by then, the deal is gone forever? Or will they send a new financing card with barcode that is good for another time? If this deal ends on 12/31/15, I will be disappointed.

Like most offers they come with an experation date. Without it, it doesnt look special and gives u no motivation to spend. Once that ends, a new offer will be thrown out eventually.
Marketing tricks work! I hope they do have another offer. I have never had to carry a balance on a card but I like having the no interest option just in case. I thought that this was a standard perk of the card. If not, the only perk is 5 cents off a gallon of gas, and I don't even buy my gas there.
Can also get cash over with no cash advance fees at the register. I've never used it but my cash over amount is $1,200 (out of 6k credit limit), which would enable me to get $1,200 cash with no cash advance fees if I chose to do so.

Well this poses an interesting question. The terms of the financing offer say that it excludes gas and giftcards. But does it include the cash over? Say, could you buy a pack of gum, cash over $500, and pay it back over time with no extra fees? Not that I ever would (I don't use cash for anything), but I think it is interesting that it could be an option for some people.
I was just pointing out the cash over feature tot he prior poster as an interesting feature of the card, since he asked about features of the card.
No cash advance fees. Walmart special financing would be for purchases, and I don't see that it would apply to cash over.
