I previously had a Walmart WMC, but the card number changed when it switched to a QS WEMC. I transferred all but the remaining $500 limit to my other QS card and closed the Walmart card. It just arrived in the mail, but since there's no need to activate it, I'll just shred it.
How did you transfer it? I've asked and they said they don't do that at all. But I know they do because I see so many here doing it's
I have Mastercard and my number changed. They letter said your number will change but it will not be reported as a new account, that part with the bureaus would stay the same.
@zuma1 In the desktop portal, under "I want to" there will be the option if you have that option to transfer to another C1 card. I transferred everything I could from the QS that changed from Walmart over to my Savor.

I just went on the Cap 1 site to do that and found I can only transfer $2K of my $2500 "Walmart" credit line. If I do that, I'll either have a card with a $500 limit or just give up that $500 and close the card.
That's exactly what I did. Transferred the limit except for the $500 then closed it.
For those wanting to upgrade your Quicksilver card to a Savor Card, I found I had no offers in the mobile app but when I went on the website with the product upgrade offer link I found someplace on this forum I had the option of upgrading to 2 different venture cards or the saver card. Sorry I don't have that link available at the moment. I had thought previously I needed to wait until I got the QS card and then eventually the upgrade option would show but that was not the case. I got the QS card today and still had no option until I went to the upgrade offers website location. The offer was for the new Savor card, not the previous Savor One. Funny thing is I now have the interest rate from the original Walmart card on the new Savor card and still have a higher interest rate on the Savor One card. I did the credit line transfer (all but $500) to the Savor card since that account was originally the Walmart card and my oldest card for AoA purposes and when I get the physical Savor card I will transfer my streaming and Internet services over to that card and close the Savor One card with the $500 CL.
