If you shop at Walmart regularly, it is a useful card. Use the card regularly , PIF monthly it can graduate to the MC. It was one of my first cards in rebuilding. I was approved initially with a 1200 cl. it graduated to the discover within 6 months. It also got cli's regularly. It now sits with a 6400 cl. I wouldn't discount it.

Did they at least offer you a free soda when you apply for their card? If not, forget it and don't even bother.
lol... I remember that thread. Free soda with app.
I like mine, shop there "some" but use it for free financing and FICO scores mainly.

Here here! That is actually EXCELLENT advice.... but not too late for the OP because everyone cyber bullied him into shredding it.
PS. Walmart store card reports with a FICO Score? Goodness..

So then it is possible to PC to MC huh? I wouldn't mind doing that!!!
Well. im not gonna bash em. as i have a wally and i luved it at first. but i found out they are stingy to some. and im one of them. last cli 150 dollars. what the hell. had it a year and can't get increase for anything. i don't need it. but it was great for the fico. since i have a little time under it. im keeping it. but i will dust if off every 6 months.go buy a pack of gum. get 60 cash out and then pay it off the next day. just want to see how high can it go. then cancel time. currently at a whopping 1450 cl.
I don't list my few store cards in my signature, but I do enjoy having the Walmart MasterCard. It's one of the few useful retail cards along with Sam's Club. I got approved for the Walmart Discover for $700 a few years back, and it grew to $7500 a year later. I'm sure I could have it at like 20k by now if I felt like calling Synchrony. The FICO score and the deferred interest are the biggest perks of the card. If your offer is just for the store card, I'd pass though. It's not as much fun as the MasterCard. I hate in-store only cards.
