Hello. Does anyone know how to get Walmart to take the final jump to get me to $5000, and stop the puny $100 CLIs? Or, how do I PC to the Walmart Mastercard or something of similar ilk?

The MC upgrade is by invitation only - a PC is not something you can request.  You can try the Credit Solutions or Chat route to see if your account is elegible for a higher CL.  Regardless, a CLI is a CLI.  Are you using all your tradelines to full capacity, including the Walmart store CC?

If you're getting $100 bumps I'd guess you're pushing the online button. Echoing Finstar's comment the best way to get a meaningful CLI is to call or use the chat function.

I accidentally closed my Walmart store card Jan 2015. Per CS, they don't reopen accounts so I had to reapply. When I reapplied, I was approved for the MC.

What are your FICO scores? That and your utilization may be preventing you from achieving the larger CLIs. Building a solid credit profile takes time. Best of luck!

@Anonymous stated by others you need to call Credit Solutions @ 877-379-8173. It's quick and painless and the best way to get CLI's on all SYNC cards.

Just an add... when you call, aim high and ask for 10K or 15K depending on your resources. If not approved, they will counter.

Thanks for bringing that up. I missed it.

Always shoot high when asking for CLI's (especially with CS) to make sure you're leaving nothing on the table.

I quite enjoy calling CS for Sync CLI’s.

Lowes CS Rep: How much would you like?

Me: Oh, let’s go for $25K Daddy needs a new grill and maybe a broom.

Lowes CS Rep: I was only able to get you $12k

Me: That’ll do. I guess the broom will have to wait.

Only one of them has ever picked up on the humor and ran with it but it sure is funny when they do.

Ok, everyone... This bothered me all night... so, I got up this morning and called 1-877-379-8175. I explained that I pressed the CLI button, but the increase was not what I wanted and I did not get the opportunity to reject it before my limit was automatically raised. The rep asked me what I was looking for. I said I wanted to be at $5000 or better. He paused for about five seconds and said, if you will check your account you will see that your limit has been raised to the $5000. So, thank you everyone for your encouragement. Now, I got to figure out a way to get the PC to the mastercard... any suggestions?

Sounds like you left money on the table. Call back and ask for $15k. Trust us.
