Just recieved my card in the mail super excited! it's the Walmart discover card. Registered for the free fico and it came out to 726! I thought it was lower due to my excessive inqs, glad I'm still in the 700 club!
Does ge do auto increase on this card? or does it have to be customer initiated?
Thanks everyone!
congratulations on getting the card and a great score. One thing (a damper) I noticed is that my Walmart score which is presumably TU08 (not used by anyone) is way higher than TU98 score availabel her at my Fico (also not used by anyone). So I guess the real important score TI04 (used by everyone) is still a mystery....
Thanks @pakman and LS!
@pakman never heard of tu04, it sucks that lenders dont just stick with one! lol
Congrats on the WM card and score! Now I'm jelly and want one. LOL.
Congratulations on getting the Discover Walmart card!

The TU FICO® from Walmart and the TU FICO® from here then amount to FAKOs??? That stinks!
I just had my credit pulled on saturday to buy an RV. One lender pulled TU98 and the other pulled 04. So they do still use 98!
TU98 is definately still used ~ although I suspect it will become less popular with creditors as they will probably transition over to TU04 eventually. I have no idea about TU08, I suspect it will won't be as widely used for a while.

TU98 is still pulled by many lenders although more and more are using TU04.
Several months ago a poster was convinced that Discover used TU08 for at least some of their decisions but I've seen nothing else since that time that definitively gives evidence about any specific lenders pulling TU08.
But that doesn't mean at least some of them haven't switched to TU08.
