Re: Wamu Card.

Their card is really PLAIN. Just silver with the WaMu logo. But they have been the nicest to me in years so I'm not complaining.

However, I used this new acct to BT from some high rate cards and now I'm worried about another post that says that they rate jack. Uggh! Smiley Sad

Hoping for the best!

They have several different designs.  Mine is titanium-colored (very dark gray but very shiny, the light reflecting off of it almost has a prism effect).  DF's has a picture of a rainy street scene from what looks like the early 20th century.

That's strange.  Every preapproval I ever got from them had several designs to choose from.  How did you apply?

Re: Wamu Card.

My current WAMU platinum card is black (probably the closest to a BLACK card I will get to at this stage in my life).  For the new account, I requested ORANGE.  Kinda different.  So now, I will have a black card and orange card.

Re: Wamu Card.

I didn't have a preapproval. I found out about them on these boards and went to their website and applied. (Had to open a free checking/savings but I was already considering that anyway.) Then I was "invited" to apply for the card and received instant approval. There was never a choice about the card design.

Ahh, that's probably why then.  I have never seen other designs on their website either.
