Wamu Denies without doing a Hard pull?

i tried applying for a Wamu card this past week and they denied me and no hard pull ever showed up on any of my reports. i have a 640 transunion scorew with 4 inq. this is the second time i've applied to them in the past 2 months  and both times no hard pull. i dont even see a soft pull? could it be they are using and old report from me applying 5 monbths ago when my TU was 590?

Did you ever get a explanation letter from them?

AKA Adverse Action letter.

You don't have an old charged-off Providian do you?  Those scores should've gotten you on with a decent limit.

Same happened to me. I received the decline letter a couple weeks later. It said that I was declined because I applied within the "past 2 months". I applied for biz credit in August and was declined and then personal credit about 8 weeks later. The letter also stated there would be no inquiry because of the length in time between applications.

Perhaps 2 full months hadn't passed yet.

Re: Wamu Denies without doing a Hard pull?

What is the policy of Wamu for a Providian Charge off but paid after charge off. What do they want? I had a providian card that was charged off in 2005. I settled and paid it off to a CA and the debt is satisfied. Would that qualify me for a new card with them? What is the Wamu Policy on this kind of situations?
