Wamu due dates and closing dates

I called Wamu trying to get my  closing date the 1st like I've done with my other three credit cards

they say no can do I think the rep was just stupid think she tried giving the 10 and 23rd???????

any if some wamu cardholds could share their last day for purchases(closing date) and their due date.

I should be able to figure it out myself

Are you trying to find out when WaMu reports to the bureaus, or are you trying to get them to change your statement date to the first of the month? sorry, got lost there

I want my statement to show purchases from the 2nd of the previous month through the first of the current month

OK, sounds like you're trying to get them to make your statement drop on the first of the month. I can't even make my power company change our billing date, so I'll pass, but I think that I remember Noah_Bodie saying he had done this--maybe on his thread about buying a new house, probably over on the Loans board. Pretty sure it was Noah, anyway. good luck--companies locally are ridiculously stubborn about this.

it just bugs me that Chase, Cap1, and Discover had no problem setting my due date so my statements fall on te first, it also looks like wamu doesn't offer paperless statements, what century are they in?

My Wamu account has a closing date 3 days after my due date. I changed my due date and the new closing date adjusted the same amount of days.

Example. My due date is on the 19th. My closing date is on the 22nd. Hope this helps.

but based on 3 days a due date of 29th would give a statement date of 1st for month's with 31 days and 2nd with those have 30, feb Ihave no idea

I haven't had them long enough to know how they cycle dates. Some times the dates can change more than a few days.

the last  rep I talk to said the accountad to cycle thoudh first. before set a date.

I also complained about no paperless statements, she said that they a required my Law to sen a paper statement, Welll I'll infor Chase,Cap1, Discover that they are breaking the LAW
