I was mailed an offer from Chase for a Freedom card. I already have a Discover IT ($3k), Sallie Mae ($8k), and BOA Cash Rewards ($500). Should I take the bait on the Freedom?
I haven't found it to offer much that Discover doesn't already offer, but if you think you'll use it, why not go for it?
If you don't need it this second, you might as well wait untiil the $200 bonus comes back later in the year.
+ You will probably get a better limit and APR if you wait a tad bit longer

If it is a card you'd use, I'd take it.

I think it's a great card. Been using it more than my Discover. Goes really well with the CSP but if you think you might need more time to fully think about things, that might be good.

You should select cards that suit your needs/wants and not just repond to offers. If you want feedback you need to provide more info for us to weigh in. It's not just a matter of the cards you currently hold and the offers that you receive. What do you specifically need/want from your next card?

I was considering app'ing for the Freedom again, but currently, the only thing that I find appealing about the card is the $200 sign up bonus that may or may not come around again. It doesn't offer me much more than I'm already getting with my Discover it and Sallie Mae. It might be a different story if I was interested in Ultimate Rewards and possibly pairing it with a CSP, but I'm not interested in that right now. It's nice to get the offer, but I would ask myself: What is this card going to provide that my other cards aren't currently providing?
