Wells Fargo 15-month bonus rule now kaput?

I took a look at the following Autograph pages that went up today, and didn't see a mention of the 15 month rule between Wells Fargo credit card bonuses. I believe I saw it mentioned on at least one of these types of pages in the past for Active Cash, and for the 0% APR period for the Reflect:

Autograph page:

https://creditcards.wellsfargo.com/autograph-visa-credit-card/

Terms and Conditions:

https://www.wellsfargo.com/credit-cards/autograph-visa/terms/

Card Agreement:

https://www.wellsfargo.com/credit-cards/agreements/autograph-visa-agreement/

I  also no longer find any mention of the 15-month waiting period on the Active Cash or Reflect pages.

Perhaps Wells Fargo has finally abandoned this rule? I'd love to see confirmation of this, or even confirmation that it's still in effect since I'd love to be eligible for a larger SUB they're expected to have next year with a premium travel card.

As of 30 days ago or so, it was still in effect.

The good news is that they'll tell you that you are not eligible for the SUB or 0% offer BEFORE you complete the application... assuming that you are a logged in existing card member.

Good luck!

I went to the application page and logged in, and didn't see a notice I wasn't eligible (I got the Active Cash in October last year.) The terms and conditions did mention how I can get the bonus.

If I'm getting a card in the next couple months it will probably be this one, although I'd prefer to wait until my latest card (a Discover It) has become 3 months old in early August.

And because of Wells Fargo's 6 month rule (only one card with them every 6 months), that would also be the latest I'd apply for any WF card this year, assuming that I could get the bonus for the Autograph and the expected premium travel card they'll issue early next year.

i really hope this is true - 6 months to wait is a lot better than 15 months

Re: Wells Fargo 15-month bonus rule now kaput?

According to the operator I spoke with a few minutes ago, the 15-month rule no longer applies when it comes to Autograph. A message was sent to her and other operators yesterday, although she couldn't find it to quote it to me. She couldn't verify whether the 15-month rule or something like it will apply again when WF releases new cards. (Now it's just their regular 6-month rule between WF credit card approvals.)

I just signed up and the SL was lower than I was expecting ($1K), but I've had more activity than normal over the last 3 months so I'm not totally surprised. I'm actually pretty stoked to get the card! (I'll make a seperate post in Approvals later today.)
