If I was approved for a wells fargo auto loan what are the odds I can be approved for a cc through them?

Well my mom recently refinanced her house with Wells Fargo and they approved her for the new mortgage but denied her for a Wells Fargo credit card because of a 9 year old BK.....

Guess it just depends what your reports look like.

In my experience, WF is easier to be approved for an auto loan than a CC.  What are your scores?

one of my friends has a auto loan through wells fargo and he had past credit troubles when he got the loan and he was denied for the credit card when he applied a couple months later. credit cards are sometimes harder to be approved for than car loans because there is collateral for car loans but credit cards are unsecured debt there is nothing the bank can take back in case you fail to meet your obligations with them
