Amex will not approve me for squat - 0/4 track record. My scores aren't very good, so I do understand it, but some decent lenders (Chase and Barclays, for instance) have taken a chance on me, and Amex still won't touch me with a ten foot pole... Citi won't either, but I have only applied once for one of their cards, the Double Cash.
US Bank..Have close to 800 scores no baddies high income,AAoA is 8 years..have no debt and still can't get US Bank to give me a card, have IDA and ARS on ice as well,I get the same reasons from them everytime I apply: Too many Inq and too many new accounts
Discover. Bastards! I would never even app for their card again. Yes, they left me that bitter. I've tried applying twice, double pulled each time, and the best I got was the option to do a joint application. Hah
Chase has turned me down twice. I no longer bank with them, and don't see myself applying for anything from them any time soon. I just got back in with AMEX, the backdating will benefit me far more than anything Chase has to offer. I closed my Freedom (started with WaMu) and haven't looked back.
US Bank. Though I feel better about myself now that the Cash+ has been nerfed so much.

Ah, we have something in common. US Bank doesn't like me either. Maybe a few months in the garden will remedy that.
