Ok so I have three credit cards right now. My cards and limits are (Discover It $4,000 and BofA "AAA Member Platinum Plus card" $1,500). I'm also an authorized signer on my mom's Chase Sapphire card (I'm unsure of the limit). My most recent card is from a month ago which is the Discover It card. I'm curious on what type of card I should get next. To my understanding its better to have a variety of different types of cards rather than all standard credit cards, so should I be looking into getting a retail card from a store? I am going to wait 6 months until actually getting a new card but I just want some information before that time comes so I can make a good decision. I'm really getting interested in my credit scores and reports so I want to make the right decision. According to Discover, my FICO score is 766 (04/30/14). Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What kind of card do you want rewards or cash back? That would be my first question
