Re: What Have you been DENIED for recently?

GEMB Bass Pro Shops store card. Recon'd through the entire food chain and still denied. They won't tell me why exactly but I think they are still PO'd about a $125.00 Sam's account that THEY decided should be IIB. I was planning on keeping it but they bailed. Now, seem to be holding that against me. I shall avoid GEMB from now on.

Bummer... denied at CCCU. Waiting for letter to see what the reasons are before deciding if we'll try for recon. Really, really want a new account to payoff Providian. (8K at 19.8% is killing us! Smiley Sad )
Filed Chapter 13 April 2012. Case successfully closed May 2017, about 1 month after 60th payment. FAKO scores on close date: TU 695 EQ 697. Received discharge July 11th - took forever! Real EX day of discharge 624.

Re: What Have you been DENIED for recently?

I got denied for a Walmart too.  I thought I would at least get a small CL.
Whatever.  I got approved for Hooters card though.  Go figure.

Re: What Have you been DENIED for recently?

Impulsively hit the CLI button when checking the husband's BoA balance, and got the 7-10 day response. Had a letter in the mail declining the request, apparently due to the presence of collection accounts on his credit file. Uh, yep, those are the same collections that were there (unpaid) when you auto-CLI'd him from $5,000 to $11,000 last year, and the same collections that were there (paid by this point) when you auto-CLI'd him from $11,000 to $16,000 back in March. Oh well - like I said, it was an impulsive button-push, anyway - we'll just wait for more auto-CLI love, I guess, as they've been pretty generous with it up 'til now and he never ASKED for it once!
