In October 2014, my FICO score was a sad 589. I went for the Capital One secured card. Took care of it, added additonal deposits, paid it off in full every month. A few months later, needing some dental work, I applied for Care Credit and was approved for a measly $800 but it was a start! Next I tried Overstock - approved for $700 - again low CL but I kept building and paying in full, on time, every month. Today my score is 690 and I have a total credit line of $22,600: Discover: $7500, Macy's $5900, Cap One QS - $5500, Amazon - $1200, Chase Freedom - $1000, Overstock - $700, CareCredit - $800. Utilization at 9%. I'm getting automatic CLI (thanks Discover!) and additional upon request (thanks Macy's!). Just wanting to throw a little hope out there to those who are rebuilding - it can be done!!
Good for you.
Now only if you can find me information how to increase a credit score from 750-800 in a short period of time, it would be of more use to me. Every time I look up how to increase credit score, it's always an article written for people with low credit scores.

Well done and continued good luck in your credit journey.
Good job on the strong work. Building credit is no easy feat. Congrats!!
Keeo going the way you are going...credit is like a marathon and not a sprint.
Nice progress, congrats!
Do you know what your credit score was at different points when getting approved for the various cards you have listed, for example your score when you got the discover, chase, etc... I'm wondering which card I should shoot for next but I'm low 600's still I'm assuming I probably have to get up to maybe 640 or so to have a decent chance at some better cards?
Congratulations on your successes!!! You've done a good job!!!
You've made fantastic progress!!
Was in the 650 range when good things started happening. Just got approved for AMEX as well. Time and patience.
Well done!
