Sure you can.😂
We Mfer's come up with all sorts of ways to get our dirty little fingers in those outside the service area cookie jars!
You can initiate a SP CLI every six months. My SL started at $10k last year after Identity verification, requested cli back in November I believe to $15k. Have one coming up in a few months. I'll try the love button again.
No prior banking relationship with PNC.
I just clicked the credit limit increase and I see this wording:
"By clicking on "submit" below, you and any co-borrower, are requesting that PNC Bank increase the credit limit on this credit card account and certifying that the information above is true to the best of your knowledge. You are also representing that you have the authorization of any co-borrower to make this request and that you and any co-borrower consent to PNC Bank obtaining a consumer report and other credit information about you and your co-borrower in order to process this request. Approval of your request is subject to meeting PNC Bank's established credit criteria and other requirements. Regardless of whether your request is approved, you and any co-borrower will continue to be liable for all amounts owing on your credit card account as provided under the terms of your credit card agreement and applicable law."
This sounds like a hard pull possibility? Is that the same thing you see when you do a soft pull? I don't actually need a limit increase, I just wanted to try to get it a little higher since it's my lowest card. Certainly not worth a hard pull to me, so I backed out for now.
Yes it is, but its not a HP. Wasn't when I did it. If it hasn't been six months. The next screen will tell you. Or your limit may increase if you have a preapproved cli.
@dlister70 wrote:Another thing to note is that PNC has a seperate cashback program called "purchase payback" for certain businesses. You have to click on them to get the offers, like the AMEX offers that you can add to your card. Currently I only have two showing, 10% back at Five Guys and 10% back at Long John Silvers. I've seen Autozone on there before, and some others.. I don't see one that I actually want to use very often, but it's nice when it's there.
Yeah, when I was a PNC Checking customer, I used to see discounts like that if I used my debit card for a particular purchase.
CHASE checking does that too without needing to have a credit card.
Thanks for your updates!

- Experian Fico 9 was 697
- 4 90 day late student loans 2015/2018

I am hearing of some difficulties with paying the account with an outside checking account.
Have you ever experienced this? I am guessing no since you mentioned having a relationship
with them.
Thanks for the DPs!
If the Ducks Unlimited ever gets nerfed for the existing users, this will be my next goal card.
yeah, payments are always via my internal account, though I could possibly try my chase checking account once just to see if there are any issues.
I do not consider 5/3 cards very compelling. I have 2 of them. They rarely get used . Just occasionally to keep them alive.
Their fault. Not mine...
But the Huntington Voice card I find useful for the fact that if you choose groceries as your 3 point catagory, and combine that with the 10% bonus for having their checking product, and all Walmart purchases code as grocerie, I get an effective 3.3% cash back on anything I purchase there.
Im not a big Walmart guy, but you know, 3.3% on anything they sell comes in handy sometimes.
Plus points are simple to redeem into the checking account.
