Home Depot is Citi so you never really know..try preapproval.

I'd say you have a pretty good chance with Lowes - you might get a smaller starting credit line, but if you call right away chances are they'll increase it. With Citi-Home Depot, I'd give you a 50/50 and not because of your score which is good enough, but because of your short credit history. With HD if you don't get a pre-qualified OK from their website, try calling and saying I just got Lowes card but I realkly perfer HD....bla bla.
Might work - I know they kinda watch each other as your CL's increase. I had a $12k Lowes and HD took me from $600 to $6700 and then when Lowes incfeased to $17k, HD went to $10k with no effort.
