I currently have the old Sallie Mae card before it got nerfed. I"m thinking about applying to Uber Barclays card because my job requires a lot of eating out/travel. Is it worth applying to Uber card and probably getting a denial due to them being inquiry sensitive, and then reconing to ask to move my current limit to the Uber card?
My scores are:
EX: 738
EQ: 725
TU: 685 (balance on a paid off credit card didn't reflect yet)
13% utilization (will become 2% this friday when I pay off an account)
Total CL: 20k
29 Inquiries on EX, 6 on EQ
Oldest account 6 years, newest account (fidelity) 4 months.
23 Y.O.A. with 65k/year job now.
How many inquiries do you have on TU? That is what they are going to pull. If you are approved for the Uber then yes, they have moved credit lines from other cards according to all of the posts that I've read.

This, you would have to recon for approval in order to transfer the limit. TU is what the initial app will pull, so that inq number is important as well.

Sorry if it's a bit off-topic, but I've seen this card referenced a couple times here. Since the card is no longer available (?) or at least in its pre-nerf form, I'm curious as to what the benefits of this card were?
It was 5% back on book stores, which at the time, Amazon was/is a book store category. So this card was the only card that gave 5% cash back at Amazon (pre chase and Synchrony bank cards)
