$10k Delta Gold... my only AmEx.
I feel pretty fortunate though... I had the same card with $1k limit from 2014-2016 that I closed shortly before filing Ch 13 in early 2017.
In early 2022 for reasons unknown AmEx gave me the exact same card with 10x the limit. I'm on a short leash though... CLI's aren't happening till the PR falls off my reports later this year.
At that time I'll go for a 2nd AmEx card... and honestly have no clue which one at the present time.
Only have 3 cards with Amex
Delta Skymiles Platinum
Delta Skymiles Reserve
Everyday Preferred
i'm planning to downgrade one of the Delta cards bc I have no need for both at this stage. I was playing upgrade / downgrade for some miles. If they give me an offer after I downgrade 1 of them, I may consider it. But I don't want the Amex RAT team to come my way.
Only have four, low chance of applying for a fifth:
Centution
Platinum
Optima (the first AMEX charge card)
Bonvoy Business
i save MP points, and splurge on international first class every several years.
(1) WF Propel
(2) Cash Magnet
(3) BCE
I currently only have the AMEX Platinum, but I'm considering pairing the Gold and then later in the year going for the Blue Cash Preferred card to help with total credit limit. When I log in it says there isn't an additional fee for the gold card, but I'm confused if that means adding one for me or for someone else to my account?

If you open up a new Gold card (new, separate application, meaning a whole new account) you will have to pay the annual fee for it.
On the other hand, if you add an authorized user (AU) to your Platinum card, but instead of giving the AU a Platinum card of their own (which would cost you an additional $175/year) and give them a Gold card instead, THAT would be free.

You're welcome, but I hope you're not talking about doing something...questionable. As that can't be discussed here.
I was just kidding as a response, isn't something I'm planning to do. While I personally wouldn't find my using a card that's attached to my own account (and in the same name) as being a problem -- it's all the same pot and AMEX gets the revenue from the spend, I can see them viewing that as questionable so I wouldn't do it.
