No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Top five in no particular order:
Amex Brilliant. Perks
Amex Delta Platinum. Perks
BoA Customized Cash. Cash back super platinum or whatever they call it member so a ridiculous percentage cash back
Universal Visa. Vanity- who doesn't want a dinosaur on their credit card
Navy Federal Flagship. Everyday card most of the time.
At the moment:
- Whatever card I am churning or using for a SUB or retention bonus. Just got through getting 35k for keeping an AMEX Platinum for a year (and I will cash out the Uber/FHR/Airline credits before dropping it next year). Currently I am on a business card SUB and we don't discuss those here. The next consumer card will likely be a Chase Boundless when the 5x50 FNC offer shows up unless a "gotta have it" comes up.
- Chase Freedom Unlimited under a double points offer for 2024, so guaranteed 3x everywhere in the U.S./6x dining and drugstores/10x Lyft.
- Bilt Rewards gets rent at 1x and special love on Rent Day when everything but rent is doubled (dining 6x and travel 4x).
- AMEX Gold for 4x groceries, though I am about to drop it without a spicy retention offer for SavorOne for 3x groceries and no AF (and Savor One is also a 10x Uber card with free UberOne).
- Capital One VentureX is the catchall 2x card.
Honorable mention: AMEX Platinum for 5x airfare.
I could not succeed to include any CB website in this formula, since none of my Instacart purchases via TCB or Rakuten were triggered in the past 6 months.
Thanks again for the great info and ideas. Here is someone who got befrugal to track, I did not try it myself: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/costco-com-100-instacart-giftcard-for-80/#comment-1835776
That page also mentions some others with TopCashBack not working.
I tried 55haitao myself and it didn't work for me.
