Amex Blue

If not, I'm hoping for
- Amex BCE
- Citi Forward
- Chase freedom
- And maybe throw in a Target for the 5% off
I'm really hoping that 2012 is going to give me a chance to have all prime cards, get some CLIs on the cards that I do have, any drop the couple of toy limit and/or sub prime cards I have laying around.
What I'd LIKE is to get to the point with my cards where I have enough 'good' cards to where I don't feel the need to app so much, so I can just try to garden and get some good CLIs. But I have a feeling I won't get everything I want in one year.
Is te the CITI forward more geared towards students? I dont know much about CITI cards but would like to add one in the near future.

Would like
-AmEx Costco TE
-BofA Rewards 123
Will consider
-AmEx BCE or BCP (Costco doesn't count as a supermarket, does it?)
-Citi Diamond Preferred (keep getting invites to apply)
-Chase Freedom (need to look into what Chase likes to see)
Not likely
PSECU combo (have one old baddie, have read PSECU doesn't like to see those, off in 2013)
No Costco is considered a Wholesale/Warehouse you can't even get the 2% grocery on their TE Card. It is categorized in the 1% "everything else" category.

if i get approved i wont app again. if i get denied i will app for something else. what i want to apply for is one of the following:
penfed amex
psecu 10/10
chase freedom
boa rewards visa
barclays travelocity (not sure if this is amex bank approval or if barclays approval)
but my journey begins with amex, everything else will follow.
The Travelocity is a Barclay's card and only uses the Amex network. It will report as a Barclays Trade line on your credit report and you will have an inquiry from Barclays. The same applies to the Penfed Amex.
1. Amex Gold
2. Amex Costco True Earnings
3. Citi Diamond Mastercard
4. Walmart Card (Free TU Fico's will save me about $100 annually
)
I would like to app for the BJ's Wholesale Club Visa in the Spring once my other CC debt is paid off. It gives 2% back for BJ's purchases and when you have a BJ's rewards membership you get 4% back. I spent over $5000 there last year (not counting gas purchases since they don't count for rewards), so that would really add up.

Don't you have to spend a certain amount to even break even on the membership rewards annual fee?
I have all the cards I could ever want or need except....Chase!
On my last spree, Chase was the only one I didn't get, and should have applied earlier in the process for Chase. Was denied for too many inquiries on EX (which was pulled for nearly all my apps). Scores were (and still are) fine for getting Chase.
So now, waiting the obligatory 6 months and will try again for Chase Sapphire and/or Slate. Would love to have both, for different reasons, to add to my collection: AMEX Zync, AMEX Clear, Citi Diamond Preferred MC, Discover More, BankAmericard Visa, 1st Command Platinum Visa, HSBC Platinum Visa, Wells Fargo Visa, Home Depot, Lowes, Lumber LIquidators and Public Service CU Debit Card.
what does AmEx BCE (stand for) and BCP (stand for)?
I Googled them but couldn't find anything that made sense to me... ![]()
