It gives 2% back for BJ's purchases and when you have a BJ's rewards membership you get 4% back. I spent over $5000 there last year (not counting gas purchases since they don't count for rewards), so that would really add up.
Don't you have to spend a certain amount to even break even on the membership rewards annual fee?
It costs $50 for a regular membership and $90 for a rewards membership. If my spending didn't increase from last year, I'd get about $200 in rewards for the year which would pay for the membership and give me $110 extra for purchases. And that's only using the card for purchases at BJ's, as I plan to. That plus the savings I normally get from shopping there instead of grocery stores and department stores makes it pretty worthwhile.

The only complain I have is that the BJs here doesnt have a good selection of vegetables and up here in the North we have Market Basket that generally kills BJ's prices on most items. That said, I do shop at BJ's just not that much.
The star's are aligning for my next app spree to take place in late April or early May, 2012. At that time my 6-month probation period with Barclay's will be over -- as well as my charge-off with HSBC from 2005 falling off. Additionally, two of my hard inq's will have fallen off by then as well. At which point I will go for the hat-trick: CHASE FREEDOM, DISCOVER MORE, and AMEX ZYNC. My A, B, and C cards.
My A card has always been Chase Freedom. I dream of the day it will be my every day card. Only 5 more months.....Until then I will be gardening and paying my cc balances down until spring when they dip below 10%. Then it's APP TIME!!!!!

Always good to let those charge off fall off.
I'm sure that's one of the reason why on some apps they gave me low CL's. They always ask about the one charge off that I have that scheduled to fall off in 2012. I want it to go away !!!
Thinking about the new Disney Signature chase card http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Chase-Disney-Visa-Signature/td-p/1033788
Has it launched yet? The Disney Visa Signature?

I dont think so
Just called and rep said it launched 11/30 for existing eligible accounts to upgrade to. I have the Disney Visa, so checking if I can convert to Sig but probably not since not 12 months.

oh ok, good luck
DECLINED lol They said min 12 months, but another rep told me that card upgrades don't require that. This rep said any "product changes" require 12 months even from a Visa Platinum to Signature, despite nothing changing other than tier.
